PUBLIC NOTICE
Nash County Health and Human Services Board is providing public notice of proposed revisions to the Nash County Regulations Governing the Permitting, Construction, Inspection, Repair, and Abandonment of Irrigation and Agricultural Wells.
The proposed revisions are intended to clarify and update local requirements for the permitting, construction, inspection, repair, and proper abandonment of irrigation and agricultural wells in Nash County. These regulations help protect groundwater resources and support compliance with applicable North Carolina laws and standards.
A copy of the proposed revised regulations is available for public review during normal business hours at:

Written comments will be accepted through October 14, 2026 and may be submitted to:
